A large-scale ETUI survey conducted between 2009-12 involved board-level employee representatives across the European Economic Area. The personal characteristics and location of these representatives, their (perceived) role and influence, and how they interacted with other board members and representatives inside and outside their company were analysed, based on the more than 4,000 respondent comments.
